Warrenton-Fauquier Airport

Fly First Class at KHWY

The Warrenton-Fauquier Airport is a modern, state-of-the-art local airport with one of the most beautiful, technologically advanced terminals in the U.S.. Featuring a brand-new eco-friendly terminal, a 5,000-foot runway and a variety of programs that promote and showcase aviation, we soar with the eagles in Fauquier County!

About the terminal

We are enthusiastic about sharing a love of aviation in Fauquier County as well as the Commonwealth.  Events open to the public include:  Women Can Fly, Warbird Showcase and the International Aerobatic Club’s James K. Polk Open Invitational.
Our conference room accomodates up to 25 people.  We have a deck on the 2nd floor outside the Conference Room that provides a great space for runway viewing.  We are also equipped with a kitchen for catering.
We have a new, green 10,000 sq ft terminal building completed in 2020.  Features include geothermal for HVAC and solar panels that give back to the grid.
We have a pilot lounge and showers in both restrooms to be used as needed.
